The DC Sports Guys 3-29-2009

With college basketball dominating the sports world it almost seems like nothing else is going on. Que Gilbert Arenas actually coming back and playing a game, only to be blocked by none other than Kwame Brown in the final seconds of the game, causing the Wizards to lose 98-96. We also discuss the Capitals first meeting with Tampa since Ovie's 50th goal celebration and ask weather the Nationals will go for the best pitcher in the draft.

The DC Sports Guys 3-24-2009

We are down to the Sweet 16 and none of the DC Sports Guys have all 16 correct. With this in mind, we reset the bracket and go over our picks for the upcoming weekend. Also, in true DC Sports Guys fashion Big J turns his microphone off, most likely because he cannot help but fidget with it constantly every show. But this time he forgets to turn it BACK ON for about 5 good minutes during the Wizards / DC Sports Guys logo segment.

The DC Sports Guys 3-21-2009

We are knee deep in March Madness and none of the DC Sports Guys brackets are doing all that great. We talk about our failed picks and comment on how we think the tournament has played out so far. The Capitals seem to have come out of their late season funk combined with Ovechkin scoring his 50th goal of the season. We also analyze the Redskins free agent signing habits and then sound off on topics that fell though the cracks.

Congratulations to "Juicy" Jeff Blachly on defending his Operation Octagon Heavyweight Championship!

Juicy is on the show with us today as we break down his victory and Operation Octagon as a whole. We each fill out a tournament bracket and dive into the major sports headlines of the week. We also give an honorable mention to Kevin's Hockey team Battalion for winning the Piney Cup.

The Wolfman is back in the studio to fill in for an absent Juicy, who is busy this week solidifying his game plan to defend his Operation Octagon Heavyweight Championship. We wish "Juicy" Jeff the best of luck and we will all be in attendance to see him defend his title this weekend.

GO JUICY!

Big J is back in the studio which means the return of the "What grinds our gears" segment. It also means the biggest argument we've had on the DC Sports Guys which ends up being over, of all people... Ray Lewis. You'll have to listen to understand why.

The DC Sports Guys 3-03-2009

Outside of ranting about sports, in this edition of the DC Sports Guys we successfully hook up with our first ever call-in. While the call in itself is brief, and Wolf eventually makes it into the studio, this marks a starting point to maybe, someday, actually doing a live show with multiple call-ins. I wouldn't hold my breath for that happening too soon, but so far... so good.
